Also may want to add, Nipped In The Bud, by Sheila Connolly. Came out October 29th on my kindle. I had almost given up hope we would see one from this series this fall

Nipped in the Bud, a new book in Sheila Connolly’s apple orchard series was released today. I got an e-mail from Amazon on Thursday about the book but never saw any advance publicity on it. It was originally listed only on kindle but now there seems to be a paperback version. It seems to be a different publisher.

You might also want to add a new book from an established author. Lynne Truss, author of ‘Eats, shoots and leaves’ has penned the first in a series of crime stories set in Brighton of the 1950s. Not the usual ‘Brighton Rock’ criminals, but starring an Inspector who is in denial about crime in Brighton while resting on his reputation and BBC talks, a Sergeant who knows it is going on but can’t persuade the Inspector, and a new Constable who is too smart for his own good.
Called ‘A Shot In the Dark’, I managed to suss the two main criminals early on, but enjoyed the book immensely. Looking forward to more in the future.
