This is the last week this year before my budget gets blown to bits. After this week, there is at least one book per week that I want to buy right away (this one goes on my Christmas gift list – I still have a number of her books to read before I get to this one).
If I can just prioritize the new ones coming out, my sweet hubby will buy a bunch of paperbacks for Christmas and my sister-in-law will buy the hardcovers. This should be easy with my long TBR list, but my addiction is strong.

Susy, I certainly know how that goes. Perhaps with the holidays around the corner, maybe you’ll be able to convince yourself you can hold out a little more and add a few more of the “must buys” to the Christmas gift list?

I know the feeling, Susy. Mine is too! My bookshelf is full and it isn’t even November yet! Yipes! And new cozies coming out all the time. I can’t keep up. I wish you well. Maybe hubby can make you a bookshelf for Christmas and the let other family members buy the books for you?

Rob, it would be the other way around. My husband isn’t real handy, but as he says ‘he’s great with a checkbook’. On the other hand, my youngest brother does amazing woodwork. When we retire, we plan to have him do built-in shelves for the greatest luxury of all, A LIBRARY, though it still won’t hold all our books (my husband has even more than I do). I am even planning on buying a library ladder.

Ahh, the Christmas Cozies are coming out! Seriously, I love this “subset” of the genre. Susy and Rob, I feel your pain. I get a feeling I’ll be hiding the credit card statements soon… :o)
