I have the newest Josie Prescott waiting for me to pick up at the library & a hold on the Kurland St. Mary title.
That said, I’m having “issues”…. I’ve long loved being able to check out e-books from my public library, and have always had checked out 6-10 at a time with another 5-10 on hold — particularly new books — the electronic equivalent of “on order” — as soon as they’re “published” — I got them. But Overdrive recently revamped their website & apps & now its a royal pain — starting with logging in (which used to be automatically saved on my devices, now they need partial filling in manually each time) to the way the pages of checked out & holds are laid out — but what really gets my goat is — it used to be super easy to browse titles, you could see at a glance if any new titles were added since you last checked & so on — well now its all messed up — on the first page of mysteries is books I’ve already read… and when I try filters for “last 30 days” etc… — well according to them they haven’t added (or going to add) any new books in the last 3 months! Which I KNOW isn’t true!!!!! So now I can’t find any new books… blech!!!!
Did I ever mention how much I HATE anything that’s supposedly “new & improved”??? Cuz they almost ALWAYS end up ruining it!!!!
(Along that line the current joke — to upgrade from your Iphone6 to Iphone7 — just put tape over the headphone jack…. 😉 )

Margaret, I’m sorry to hear you’re having troubles with your library system. I know that “updated” systems can be a real pain!
