Three on my must buy list (two already on pre-order) and three on my I want list. Good thing the most of the month has been fairly sparce.

Susy, it certainly has been a relatively slow month. Next month looks like it will be a bit slow as well, so it’ll be another decent chance to “catch up” a bit.

Linda, thanks! I’ve added these to this week’s list and the right author pages.

Three new series!!! It’s going to be an exciting week!

Loralee, you’re right – it certainly is a good week for Cozies! And I just added another that Linda suggested, this one by Daryl Wood Gerber!

I think this might be the most cozy releases for me of any weeks this year.
I have ordered “Nothing Bundt Trouble”, “Death of a Wandering Wolf”, “Nacho Average Murder”, “Word to the Wise” (HC release was last year, but MMPB release was today), and “A Sprinkling of Murder” (I’ve been really looking forward to this series).
I haven’t bought it yet, but I’m considering “Still Knife Painting”.

Melanie, that’s certainly a good list for a single week!

That sounds a lot like my list. Just add in Cate Conte’s Witch Hunt for me. I currently buy all the Jenn McKinley books in hard cover when they come out (since she is local, I also get them signed, which is fun ‘cuz she is a hoot).
Melanie says
I get hardcovers when I can (most from book clubs if available), but I only started really getting into cozies a few years ago, and the Book Lovers mystery series was already on it’s 8th release (I think). It might be a bit OCD, but I prefer all of my books in a series to match. Which is why I don’t care for when series make a switch from MMPB to Trade, etc. part way through. I realize that often happens when publishers change though, so it’s definitely better than the series stopping.
I’m in the same boat with a couple of other series too. The big downside is having to wait an extra year for the paperback release. With some of the series it’s not a problem for me yet, because I haven’t begun them or gotten that far.
I try to stay on top of newer series though.

I stopped worrying about the books being the same when they started switching from PB to HC when a series got really popular.
What really bus me is when they go to e-book only or print on demand. While I appreciate that I can still get them as POD, is bugs me that publishers drop series so easily. It is very frustrating when I can ONLY get a book as an e-book.
