As previously mentioned, I’m not a huge fan of trying new series these days, unless they have some enormously different “hook” (ie. not another “death at the needlwork shop/cafe/etc.”. But looking forward to the new Kate Kingsbury series since I’ve enjoyed her others so much. Just wish her other series had had more titles in them!

Margaret, I hope this series is another good one – and a decent length as well! At least Kate Kingbury usually writes at least a half dozen books or so in each series she does under this name.

I have a question about the Haunted Guesthouse series by E. J. Cooperman. Was Spouse on Haunted Hill the last in the series?
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Barbara, as far as I am aware it is the latest in the series. Unfortunately it is still in my “to be read” pile, so I can’t say if it wraps the series up or not.

Sending a very large THANK YOU! to this blog…because of the generous comments and postings I found the Louise Penny series…and the number of books that she has written are giving me hours of reading enjoyment…

Z, you’re very welcome!

Kate Kingsbury’s Dead and Breakfast is out in Hardcover today BUT the Kindle version is not available till Jan. 10. Disappointment on my part. Only one week to go.

3 hours ago I checked Amazon for the Kindle version of this book and it gave a release date of 1/17/17. For kicks I check again during lunch and now the book is ready for the Kindle. Price is $9.59.

Sheila, hmm, it’s showing as not being available yet for me on Kindle. Well, I’m going to leave it here regardless – as people could buy it on hardback already if that is their preference.

Danna. I feel like I’m in the TwiLight Zone. First the book in Kindle version won’t be on sale until 1/17/17; then I check again at lunch time and the book is available and I buy for the Kindle at $9.59 (checked this morning and it is in the reader); then Amazon puts the Kindle version back to the 1/17/17 date. Talk about not being able to make up their mind.

Sheila, well, at least you’ll be able to start a week earlier than the rest of us!
I wonder if there’s someone somewhere who accidentally hit a big red button early.
