I pre-ordered “Lethal Licorice” (Amish Candy Shop series) and “Pawprints & Predicaments”…also being released tomorrow (3rd book in Bethany Blake’s Lucky Paws Petsitting series) from Barnes & Noble…to be added to my growing TBR pile (I’m adding them faster than I’m reading them…and I’m reading a fair amount).

Melanie, thanks for pointing out those releases! They’re both on the proper author pages already so I’m not sure how they didn’t end up here… Well, these weekly release posts go “stale” so quickly that I’m not going to add them, but it’s still annoying…

The Krista Davis title should be interesting — except one of the selling points being that the cover is a coloring page. Is that to discourage library borrowing I wonder?

Margaret, I suppose that’s a possibility. The downside is that it probably looks a bit “bland” on a store shelf, since it’s mostly black and white.

I read “The Scottie Barked At Midnight” (A Liss MacCrimmon Mystery) by Kaitlyn Dunnett. It’s the 10th (I think) in the LIss MacCrimmon series and is a good read. It adds two Scotties to the mix (two cats already in the series). Fun and unlike some cozy mysteries, she actually develops her characters and moves their lives forward! Give it a try!
