OH MY! Three new books in my collectible list, “Marigolds for Malice,” “Stabbed in the Baklava,” and “Witch,” AND a brand new series (to me) to add, the Vivien Chin “Noodle Shop Mystery” series.

Bek, sounds like another good list of books to add to your wish collection!

Personally, this is a one must buy, one want sometime and one ‘OHHH, looks like an author I would like’. Well, really there is also one ‘I didn’t know about that pseudonym, so I need to add this to my list (Ginger Bolton since I love all the Janet Bolin books).
Bek says
LOL, Susy S, we seem to like a lot of the same books! Bet we could curl up by a fire on a cold winter’s day and read together for hours, never needing to talk other than an occasional comment about what we were each reading, but both of us feeling in very good company, indeed.
Susy S says
Agreed. My older sister is the same. I once told her I could see the day, after we both retire where we sit around all day with our books and coffee or tea. About the only sounds all day would be the sound of the page turning, sipping or beverage and the occasional chuckle or gasp at the action in the book.
WE ARE ALL THE BEST KIND OF PEOPLE!

I certainly agree with that! We are generally quiet, and not much trouble to anyone. And cats LOVE us…all those stationery laps!

Hello, I haven’t checked in on this page in quite some time. I have been a collector of the Grace Chapel Inn books for a while now. And it saddened me when I couldn’t find them any more. I have a list that numbers to 50 books. It seems that most of the older books are no longer being published, but I found a couple of the older ones in a book store in Asheboro, NC. Needless to say I was so thrilled ! However I still have 11 books to find to complete my collection. Thanks to this wonderful blog I have the list to mark them off. Thank you again and happy reading….Carol M. Wright

Carol, you’re welcome, and I’m glad that my lists are helping you finish off your collection! I always love hearing from people who are finding the site helpful in one way or another. Good luck finding the remaining books on your wish list!

Carol M. Wright, try Thriftbooks online. MOST of them seem to be out of stock right now, but if you start a wish list, they’ll notify you by email when a copy is available. I’ve had very good luck finding older books with them.

Glad to see Charles Paris returning. I admit my first thought when I read that was, “Oh is he still alive? … oh… right…..” ????

Stash, it has been a while since this series had another entry – 4 years! Though not as long as some breaks it has had in the past… Simon Brett didn’t write an entry from 1998 to 2013…
