Merry Christmas to all. Will be subbing with a friend on mobile meals route ( similar to meals on wheels ) – We do Wednesdays normally but picked up today as the regulars went out of town. Then go to my parents house for Christmas dinner with the usual suspects. Lots of good food, family , and fellowship.

Unfortunately, due to being at my parents, I wasn’t able to see Agatha raisin! Hopefully, when I get home I can see it on catch up TV. I’ll let you know what I think, if I get to see it!

It’s been a hectic (but thoroughly enjoyable) couple of months with visits from out-of-town friends and relatives. A brief respite this weekend before some more guests arrive on Monday for a three day visit.
I’m an NPR fan and wanted to share the following segment which aired on All Things Considered today. It’s about a ‘reading in bed before sleeping’ study – ebooks vs paper books. Very interesting!

Thanks for the study about “real books” VS iPads. I can’t imagine how they got those “12 healthy young people” to go a couple of weeks without using their iPads for anything other than reading!

Happy Day After Christmas otherwise known as the the Feast of Leftovers. I spent Christmas Day in bed reading a Connie Archer mystery and eating a huge box of chocolates. It was a perfect day…… Wish you the same!
