Linda C says
March looks like a good month of good reading. On March 6th I will be the ripe old age of 69. Will that be the age of just under the the hill or just on the plateau? I don’t even know how to spell the word !!
Diane D. says
Linda C. Just had to wish you a happy birthday since I will also be turning 69 on March 6. Small world.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Linda C, aren’t they saying 60s are the new 50s? You couldn’t have picked a better time to end your 60s >>> or should I say your “new” 50s?
Libbykat says
60s is new 40s! 😉
betti says
I was just at my friend’s independent bookshop today and pre-ordered Pearls and Poison, Inherit the Word, and Iced to Death. I like all three of these series.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Betti, it sounds like you’ll have a lot of good reading to do in March!
Sheila says
Thank you for the March reading list. Looks great. Hope my Feb reading is better than Jan. The cozy series I was reading started out good but as the book went along they got dull, duller and dullest. I felt like I was reading the same words over and over and paying for the same book(s) again and again. Just wasting money. The author never changed her wording about the character(s) life style. Here’s to a better Feb and March outlook.
Happy Birthday Linda C. Age doesn’t matter … it is your outlook on life.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Sheila, I absolutely hate it when that happens with one of my favorite authors. I have had authors who I thought I would read forever, who have let me down. I hate to retire any of my favorites, but I am finding that I usually end up doing just that. I’m hoping that you don’t have to deliberate too long about retiring your “dull, duller and dullest” author.
Carole R says
Really looking forward to March! A new Duffy Brown, Peter Robinson and G.A. McKevett. Hope I’m caught up on Feb list by then.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
I know, Carole R, the March New Mystery Book Release list looks like a who’s who list!

Any books by Ellery Adams, Donna Andrews or Sheila Connolly are always good. Their plots are not stale and really keep you guessing.

Thank you, Holly, for telling me about Deborah Crombie’s mystery not coming out until September. When I put these lists together, I go check each book at least three times. I must have seen what I wanted to see.
