I’ve been watching the McBride movies off and on this weekend and I remember when they were first on. I had the same reaction to them both now and then. I can’t stand the weird music that goes on constantly. My husband says it sounds like a funeral home just before a service starts, while people are getting settled. Anyway, I think the music ruins what would have been very successful and long lasting a series of lawyer shows. Why didn’t they get rid of that awful music?

I haven’t read any of the other authors but Carla Neggers is a favorite of mine especially the Texas Rangers Series, and The Swift River Valley series. In fact everything I’ve read of hers so far I’ve enjoyed. Still working on her books ( she has 61 at my last count) in between my other favorites authors.

In an earlier blog, I thought you mentioned finding the McBride Mysteries on Netflix. If so, how were they listed? Silly me, I can’t find then. Enjoy your blog very much, but so many books, so little time. lol

I’m sorry, Barbara, but my blog entry said Netflix doesn’t have the shows. Another Cozy Mystery reader (Ann) said she was going to try her local library to see if they carried the shows.
Lee Ann says
I just reread the blog and it said that the shows are not on Amazon but are on Netflix that you saved them. So now I am confused.

LeeAnn, I thought I had written they were not available on Netflix or Amazon, but I didn’t. I’m sorry that I mis-typed. I meant to say they weren’t available either place so I put them on my DVR queue.
