And a Happy Independence Day to you. I so appreciate your website!!

Thank you! And Happy Independence Day to you. I’m celebrating with two of my favorite activities… jigsaw puzzle working and reading ‘Bury the Lead’ (David Rosenfelt). Several months ago you wrote a post about this series and after reading the first book I was hooked and this author is now on my elite author list. So appreciate all you do to keep both sites the BEST for cozy reading lovers.
Roxane says
PamB,
What do you mean “both sties”? I only know of this one.
PamB says
Roxane, I was referring to this blog site and The Cozy Mystery Site of Danna’s where author books are listed in order and other numerous book listings such as book recommendations by month, etc. This site has a wealth of information for all things cozy!
Susy S says
PamB, sounds like you would fit right in at my house. We (mostly my husband) are currently going a little extreme on the jigsaw puzzles by working one that is 9000 pieces, and have a closet with about 120 other puzzles.
We are also heavy readers with a combined library of 6000 to 7000 books (Again, more his than mine, but I still have close to 2500 books). When we bought our retirement home we slightly under estimated the square footage we would need for books, but we have found ways to make it work. We also finally have time to read or puzzle as much as we want. My goal this year is to read at least 100 book and to double that in 2020. We will see if I am successful or not. Even at 200 books per year, I won’t run out of books for over a decade.
PamB says
Susy S, yes, I would fit in quite well in your home! 9000 pieces… wow!.. I can’t even imagine! I only work 500 pieces and I also have a closet full of puzzles. I do believe one can’t have too many books! Happy reading to reach your goal.

You as well! Thank goodness for my cozies, we have had hours of thunder and lightning so hunkered safely at home, reading up a storm.
Hope all is well to all.
Bek says
Right back atcha! The fireworks are now over, and I’m going to go fish the cat out from under the bed.
Susy S says
Bek, has Hekitty recovered from the fireworks yet, or are yo still getting the cold shoulder?
Bek says
I lured her out with Temptations (there’s a reason they are called “Kitty Crack”), but she’s still giving me the cold shoulder!
BTW…you just got many, many brownie points and a few gold stars for remembering my cat’s name!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and a reminder of what made our country great-My dad, grandfather and cousins are all veterans and without all of the families that support the service men and women doing what they do so that we can be safe-Happy 4th of July to you all. We owe you a debt that couldn’t be paid except to thank you!
