September is here! I’m putting together this blog entry on a day in August when the temperature here in San Antonio is scheduled to hit 105° so it’s hard to believe September is already here! I hope this finds you ALL safe and well.
Making up the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel’s monthly Cozy Mystery movie blog entries has become sort of odd for me. Since the channel hasn’t shown anything new for the last few months, I guess this entry is for people who either missed the movies when they aired before OR for people who enjoy re-watching the movies. (I read somewhere that Candace Cameron Bure and Marilu Henner have been quarantining in Canada so they could start working on new Aurora Teagarden movies – so here’s hoping there will soon be a few premieres!)
This month the channel will be showing the following shows during the day: Magnum P.I., Matlock, Perry Mason, Diagnosis Murder, Monk, Good Witch, and Murder, She Wrote. Here are the Cozy Mystery movies they will be airing this month:

If you’re looking for a television series or movie to watch, take a look at the TV and Movies page on my Cozy Mystery site and click on a link (or more!) which will take you to my write-up of the show.
P.S. The above descriptions of the movies were copied from the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries website.
Sharon Bowles says
I saw that a new Aurora T movie was coming out Mid October when I watched the last marathon. Unfortunately I did not see any of the other series that I love (watching the marathon episodes again) advertise the same.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Sharon, I sure hope that October date doesn’t end up sliding back!
Cuppa Cozy says
I’d been angrily wondering when some of the mystery movies that Hallmark promised at the beginning of the year when coming out and then it hit me. Of course, COVID was causing delays in filming. A real
“Well, duh!” moment. According to the it’s a Wonderful Movie blog, a new Aurora Tea Garden and a new Picture Perfect Mystery will be coming out in October. I guess that will tide us over. Danna, thank you so much for continuing to include the schedule. I wish Hallmark would make their schedule more user friendly. I appreciate you taking the time to figure it out for us.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Cuppa, yes, as much as I wish for new movies, Covid certainly does seem like a valid excuse! And you’re welcome of course.
Lee says
Love HMM but the loud background music drives me crazy! So many times I missed what character was saying because music was so loud.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Lee, it’s a shame when that sort of “little” detail turns into a big problem.
Sue Ward says
I AM WITH YOU!!!!
If I had written a television script and had my dialogue drowned by music I would be very upset! I’m wondering how many of the Hallmark people watch their programs? Also why the riders don’t speak up! I love Hallmark movies and Hallmark mysteries and movies but I am tired of watching the same ones so much that I now know the dialogue! Also can some writer come up with a new premise for your movies-You ran out of orchards, vineyards, animals, flowers and fruit trees A LONG time ago!!!!! Thanks for letting misspelled off I really do love Hallmark!❤️
