These terrific mystery movies are all based on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series written by Nancy Grace. (I think they are the closest we can get to the old Mystery Woman movies that also starred Kellie Martin as the sleuth.) For me, it’s always special to see the author, Nancy Grace, in the movies!

Hmm, you’re probably referring to Anne George’s Southern Sisters Mystery Series… I seem to recall one of their books being set in Florida. Though I suppose there are probably other series that more or less match what you’re describing as well.

Sling TV with internet access can get you hallmark movies & mysteries. Better than cable or dish, so long as you have solid internet stream.

After a couple of minutes of scrambling, I found out that Spectrum actually lists Haley Dean Mysteries as a series now, so I can record ALL of them with ONE CLICK!

I watched the first Hailey Dean movie last night and it was great! Maybe I’m slow but I didn’t figure out who done it until right before it was revealed. I can’t wait to see the next two in this series.

Jeanne, unfortunately there hasn’t been a Mystery Woman show for a number of years now, so yes, this is a different series.

I just got my first Nancy Grace mystery in print form. Since she has only published three so far, I guess these movies are not based as much on her books as the Aurora Teagarden ones are. Since I have read all the Aurora Teagarden books, it is interesting to compare the movies to the books.

I thought it might be Chad Lowe at 1st, but by end of 2nd, thought, no way. But on 3rd one when you said, I’m too close etc, then thought, yep it’s him. Love murder mysteries & suspense movies, more than chic flicks. Why I now have the chnl . Hopefully we will see you in the future. Nancy get to writing more.
