K, thank you so much for telling us about Julia Spencer-Flemings A Fountain Filled with Blood. I added it to the 4th of July mysteries theme.
Cathy M says
Hard to believe Lee Harris didn’t write one. Miss new books by her and Valerie Wolzien.

Cathy M, I know. I specifically went to her page, because I was pretty certain she had. No cigar…
Stash Empress says
Ooooh I wonder if I still have my copy of “Twanged”— have to reread it again! Love Carol Higgins Clark, wish she had more books out. Love the zaniness & how all the various strands of plot come together at the ends of her books in one spectacular brouhaha.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Stash Empress, if you get a chance, try to watch the Mary & Carol Higgins Clark movie “Decked the Halls” with Kathy Najimy. If you like Carol Higgins Clark for the “zaniness”>>> this is the ticket!
Stash Empress says
Well it doesn’t seem to exist on Netflix, nor on Kthy Najimy’s Wikepedia page — and the closest I could find on Amazon was this: http://www.amazon.com/Halls-NON-USA-FORMAT-Reg-2-Import/dp/B00I1K70EA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403642858&sr=8-1&keywords=Deck+the+Halls+Kathy+Najimy
If not for that I’d have said it never existed at all LOL! As it is — I guess it doesn’t exist in the USA LOL!!
Stash Empress says
PS — I did read the book though — loads of fun! I think it was probably the first thing I read from her & then I went back & got all the rest.

Stash Empress, I take it you don’t “Sprechen Sie Deutsch”. (Aren’t these translations on the internet terrific?)
Donna Mc says
Danna, the covers you posted are so pretty! I love the bright colors. Haven’t read anything by those authors yet but I will be sure to check them out.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Donna Mc, aren’t these two covers terrific? Really show the Fourth of July theme!

I am reading 2 series which I am enjoying, Molly MacRae , A Haunted Yarn Shop Mystery, . Love yarn shops and Judy McCoy, A Dog Walker Mystery. These 2 are hard to put down, so if I get something done around the house , I reward myself. with reading or knitting, or one of many craft projects l enjoy doing.
