On Amazon today, I found a new book by Duffy Brown in her bicycle shop series Tandem Demise. It was released at the end of October. I did not see anything about it until it showed up today as a recommendation. Duffy Brown is one of my favorite writers so I ordered it right away.

Janice, thanks for letting us know! Things do “fall through the cracks” unfortunately, so I definitely appreciate hearing about books from series authors that I’ve missed.

Oh, good! A bit of a break here, right before Christmas (yeah I know, still two months away, but I have to budget for these things)! I’ll still be adding to the lists for the first of the year, though! You know how I am!

Bek, I certainly know that problem. I am trying not to buy any more books until after the first of January (like that is going to really happen, sigh), but I know I will have to buy a few that are coming out in the next two months, as they are authors I read immediately and don’t have the patience to wait until the timing is better.

I just ~gulp~ preordered a couple…But I’m really trying to be good. Maybe Santa will give me credit for trying hard!

I just sent my Christmas wish list to my sister-in-law. Let’s just say, I am lucky they are very generous, so I will get most of the ones I want in hardcover from them.
I did buy two books last week and two the week before, so I REALLY need to put the brakes on for a while, though I HAVE to get the new Kate Carlisle this coming weekend.
I know it is not an obsession when it is books, but I am sure there are people who would think otherwise if they saw by book buying habit.

TELL me about it! It doesn’t help that I can gulp down a book every 1-3 days, 4-5 for things like the Outlander series!

The new Mollie Cox Bryan looks interesting but it is a shame that her publisher Midnight Ink has decided to close up shop next year.

Elizabeth, that is unfortunate. Hopefully their authors can find new homes for the series that they had under the publisher.
