~drools lightly on keyboard~ The Kabab Kitchen series has RECIPES! Oh, THAT is on the list, along with the Bay Island Psychic series. Here we go again! HOWEVER, I’ve done some measuring, and by the end of the summer, I’ll have housing for very nearly 2000 books. And that’s without turning my dining room (very tiny) into a library annex…yet.

Bek, I know that the recipe series are always popular! Sounds like this is a fairly good set of authors for the site, if adding to your personal collection is any indication.
Lena Gregory says
Thank you, Bek!

Glen says
Just a question at the moment…cuz I curious. It seems all the cozies, or at least most of them, are being written on the east coast. Is this really so, or it it a misconception on my part? And does anyone remember a mystery set on the west coast, I think in Northern California about a woman who worked for the city telephone co? The California mystery was not a generally used term. At least not that I knew of…but they were very good, and would definitely fall into the cozy category.

Glen, while a very large number of Cozies are written and take place on the east coast, there are certainly a number of west coast Cozies out there! I’m afraid that I don’t recognize the specific series that you’re describing, but there are a number of California-based Cozies listed on this page on California-themed Cozies – I just checked them, but none seems to fit, but it’s possible I missed something. If nothing comes up, or if another visitor doesn’t suggest an answer, I’ll hold onto your question for a potential future questions post for the front page.
