Now that I am officially back from my niece’s beautiful wedding, I thought that I would get back to posting different things on the site. By saying “officially back” I mean that I have finally gotten caught up with all of the things that awaited me here at home… Six load of laundry, dusting and vacuuming, grocery shopping, bills to be paid, ETC.
I have added four new authors to the site that you all have let me know about, who I have introduced on the “What’s New” page of the Cozy Mystery Site, but want to officially post them in this blog, also. Thank you so much for telling me about them… if you all are like me… you can never have enough authors from which (or is it “whom”?) to choose!
C. S. Challinor: Those of you who love seasonal mysteries will enjoy knowing that the first novel in Challinor’s Rex Graves Mystery Series is set in an English hotel during the Christmas season…
Patricia Harrington: Harrington is an ex-teacher who now writes two mystery series…
Ellen Elizabeth Hunter: Hunter writes a mystery series which featuring house preservation… something she knows a lot about…
Radine Trees Nehring: Nehring writes a mystery series which is set in the Arkansas Ozarks, which features a “senior sleuth” who enjoys sleuthing with a retired police detective…

What a great site! I LOVE mysteries and am just finishing up a GA McKevett series and until the next book comes out ready to start another series. I use to read a series with a girl who owned a tea shop, her friend was next door with a mystic shop (bright red hair) for the life of me I cannot remember the author and I am sure there are new books to read.
Help??

Sounds like Laura Childs but she has two series, one is in SC and Theodosia owns a tea shop. Her other series is the scrapbooking one I think it is set in New Orleans and next to the scrapbook shop is the red haired mystic.

Oh my goodness! I responded to Kristin privately and told her to take a look at Laura Childs… the Theodosia tea shop series… But, I told her I didn’t remember any mystic with red hair.
Kaye, I bet you solved the question… it’s a little of both of the Childs series!

You may be thinking of the China Bayles series by Susan Wittig Albert. The herbal shop is in Texas.
