Well, it’s time to add more authors to the site… This month I’ll be adding five new authors, all of whom have been recommended to me by some of you.
K.J. Emrick – K.J. Emrick is a resident of Southern Australia, and when she isn’t writing, she enjoys spending time volunteering at her local library. K.J. Emrick is the author of the Darcy Sweet Mystery Series, starring a bookstore owner, her cat, and the ghost of her great-aunt. K.J. also writes the spinoff series of Darcy’s cat, Smudge the Cat Mysteries. She also writes the Pine Lake Inn Mystery Series, the Spirit of the Soul Wine Shop Mystery Series, and (as Kathrine Emrick) the Tempest Beach Romantic Suspense Series.
Janet Finsilver – Janet Finsilver has spent most of her career in education as both a teacher and a program administrator. She writes the Redwood Cove Mystery Series which is set in northern California. The sleuth in this series is Kelly Jackson, the manager of the Redwood Cove Bed and Breakfast.
Delia James – Delia James writes the Witch’s Cat Mystery Series which takes place in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The cat referred to in the title is Alistair, the sleuth’s familiar. Annabelle Britton is the sleuth of the series, and we meet her as she first becomes a witch, with the help of Alistair.
Emma Miller – Emma Miller lives in rural Delaware, and has taught in an Amish schoolhouse. She is the author of the Amish Mystery Series, which takes place in Stone Mill, Pennsylvania. The series features Rachel Mast, a former Amish woman who returns to Stone Mill to run a bed and breakfast. Miller also writes the Amish Matchmaker and the Hannah’s Daughters non-mystery series.
Marty Wingate – Marty Wingate lives in Seattle, but both of her Cozy Mystery series are set in England. A lover of plant life, she has led a number of group garden tours to destinations such as England, Ireland, Scotland, France, and North America. She is the author of the Potting Shed Mystery Series, which takes place in London and features gardener Pru Parke, a Dallas native who moves across the Pond. Wingate’s Birds of a Feather Mystery Series, features Julia Lanchester, a tourist manager in Smeaton-under-Lyme, a small English village. Wingate has also author several gardening books.
And of course, many more Cozy Mystery authors can be found on my Cozy Mystery site.

I am a huge fan of the Amish Mystery series by Emma Miller. Very well written and wonderful protagonist. I also have enjoyed the first 2 books of the Potting Shed Mystery series by Marty Wingate. Thanks for bringing both authors to your blog.

Kimberley, thank you for the shout-outs for Emma Miller and Marty Wingate. It sure helps others decide whether or not they want to try a series when they see that other Cozy Mystery readers enjoyed them.

Can’t wait to try some of these authors. Thank you

Deb, you’re welcome. There are two series that I definitely want to try. Now I just will have to make time to read!

The Cozy Mysteries are the best books I read. They are so much fun and I pick up one every time I run across it.

Sharon, I’m with you on this sentiment! I love reading Cozies!

Murder at Redwood Cove has been my ABSOLUTE favorite book that I’ve read this year. I already pre-ordered her next one. Thanks for a few new ideas!

Amy, thanks for letting us know how much you enjoyed Janet Finsilver’s first Cozy. I think it looks like a fun read…

Hi Amy, I’m glad to read your comment….I just downloaded this book last week, and have yet to read it. I will have to move it up on my TBR List! Thanks!

I read the first few of the Potting Shed series last month, and just downloaded the last book to read when I’ve finished my current series (Elaine Viets’ Josie Marcus – Mystery Shopper mysteries). I’ve gotten too used to seeing any series I read here on the Cozy Mystery site it was something of a shock when I looked and Marty Wingate wasn’t here. I should’ve known it would be soon!

Stellans, well I guess it’s true about being better late than sorry! 😉 I’ve gotten several letters from people asking why I didn’t have Marty Wingate on the site, so I thought I had better hurry up and get her page put up. (I’m glad I did!)
Kimmie says
Stellans, I just finished reading The Garden Plot – book #1, and it was really good. I really enjoyed the main character and looking forward to seeing how everything plays out for her. I have already downloaded the remainder of books in the series to-date, and the book that is coming out sometime later this year is already pre-ordered.
This author is “new to me,” so I’m glad I was not disappointed. Being that we are coming into spring, it was enough to satisfy my “itch” to get outside and start cleaning up the yard.

I went to the Amazon site for Mary Wingate’s book and it is not available in paperback it seems. Just Kindle. This has happened with other books I’ve been interested in. It’s disappointing because I have zero interest in reading on a Kindle. Are these books published ever or do they stay in Kindleland? Thank you for doing this amazing blog.

Marie, I’m sorry, but I just checked and can’t find any of her books in paper format either.
