Manda Choate says
The King’s Justice is the 10th in the Maggie Hope series. You worried me for a second as I thought I had gotten very, very behind.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Manda, thanks for the correction! I’ve fixed that error.
Bek says
Oh, good! Several that were already on the list are being released! I’m especially happy to see the new Tina Kashian and Vivien Chen books coming out, they’re some of my favorites.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, yes, I’m a bit out of order on some of these posts – I’ll be putting up this week’s releases on Friday, almost at the end of the week rather than the beginning.
Bek says
Oh, I think ,i>you are fine, I just hear about a “to be released” book MONTHS ahead of time, add it, then you let me know that the big day is FINALLY AT HAND!
Ellen Byron says
HERE COMES THE BODY, the 1st book in my Catering Hall Mysteries, which I’m writing for Kensington under the pen name “Maria DiRico,” launches February 25th!

Ellen, thanks for letting us know! I’ve updated the lists, including upcoming series, and added a new page for “Maria DiRico” as well.

Sherrill Joseph says
Hi, Danna. I enjoy browsing in your extensive Cozy Mystery lists!
Would you consider adding my debut novel, a middle grade (ages 9-12) cozy mystery to your list?
NUTMEG STREET: EGYPTIAN SECRETS, Book 1 in my Botanic Hill Detectives Mysteries series. Release date is February 1, 2020.
Thank you so much and Happy New Year!
Melissa says
Thanks for the list!
Happy New Year!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Melissa, you’re welcome, and happy New Year to you as well!
Susy S says
So far, February looks a little thin for me, but that is a good thing. February is when the group I volunteer with (VNSA) has a huge book sale in Phoenix. I take most of my time for two weeks, plus it is when I buy books by authors I want to check out. It allows me to buy the books at a really low price, so I don’t feel bad about spending money on the few that I don’t like, and it sets me up to add many new authors to my must buy list.
The money the sale makes helps support Literacy Volunteers and Friends of Foster Children, so that is a win-win to me.
Jim says
Hi,
Nothing better that a Hannah Swenson cozy. I think I gain 5lbs just reading those recipes
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Jim, I certainly know how that feels! Cooking isn’t something I consider myself great at, but even I feel hungry looking at the recipes in Cozies sometimes.

In addition to Cozy Mysteries, I love other kinds of mysteries, and I have been a fan of the Kellermans for a long time. First Jonathan, then Fay, then their son, Jesse.
A few years ago, I decided to begin reading all the Alex Delaware Mysteries from the very beginning, and clearly, I AM long overdue to begin that process.
But now I need to wait even longer, as public libraries are currently closed.
I think I need to take a reading vacation. Go someplace, out of my state of residence (New Jersey) bring some clothes, books, leave my laptop at home, but bring my cell phone, and just stay in the hotel room and read.
Of course, bring a notebook and my journal, and take a walk a day to get some fresh air, then just nap and read, nap and read, etc.

And I now see I AM even more behind on Ms. Robb’s “In Death” series.
I must admit, I AM not prone to jeaousy (thank the Gods!). However, II would not mind a Rourke of my own; one I would happily share with my life partner. Of course, my home already has plenty of genuine coffee! HA!!
