Oh my. Four of these are on my list. In fact, three are on my ‘buy the first week or so’ list.
Thanks for keeping me up to date Danna.

Susy S, you are very welcome. Looks like a lot of great Cozies are coming out soonish.

Lighthouse Library is on my list. So far, I’ve managed to avoid adding the “Sister Jane” books, but I keep hearing them…they’re saying, “Bek, Beeeeeeeeek…you KNOW you want us! We’re here!”
help me…
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, I also have too many books calling to me. I think it is a good problem to have.
Susy S says
Bek, I buy the Lighthouse Mysteries as soon as they come out along with the Paw Enforcement series. The Victoria Square books are on my must read list, but I can wait a little longer to get those (but not much).
I have already been pestering the store where Jenn McKinlay does most of her book signings. I want to know the date so I can discipline myself if it is not the very first weekend.
I have been buying the Rita Mae Brown books for my sister, so I keep telling myself that I can borrow hers instead of buying more for myself. Now that we are back home, she and I are TRYING to buy fewer books and share as many as we can. However, there are a few books we both buy because neither of us is willing to wait until the other one finishes reading it (even if that would only be a day or two.
The ONLY downside of being home is that now we get together and talk books, and before you know it, we both are adding more authors to our lists.
Bek says
LOL, at least you can try to share! But I know how hard that wait is.
The best thing about being retired is all of the reading time!
Susy S says
You are SOOOOO right.

Beck says: “‘Sister Jane” books, but I keep hearing them…they’re saying, “Bek, Beeeeeeeeek…you KNOW you want us! We’re here!'”
HA! It’s nice to know one is not alone. There are so many series calling to me too… I picture one of those comedic horror films with books moving across the floor toward me all whispering, “Just add me to your TBR; you know you want to” getting louder as more and more books join the chase. Bwaaaaa!! Dunh-dunh-dah! LOL!
Thanks for the visual. (Sadly — or not– I did add a couple more to my lists. I am so weak!)
Bek says
Ah, MMJ, that’s a weakness that we share! I just finished loading MOST of my books into AllMyBooks, both those I own and those I want, and the total to date is 850 owned and about 1500 on my “To Buy” list. I still have about 150 to add. And now you know why I’m always moaning about needing space for bookcases. THANK GOODNESS for AllMyBooks! There are some good home library organization programs out there, and having one is GREAT! Now, after I get them all loaded, I have to go shelf by shelf and make sure I have the right edition listed! It’s a work in progress…
As for your rather vivid mental picture of the books moving across the floor…gee. Wonder what I’ll be dreaming about tonight!
