I’m just now reading “Dead Cold Brew” by Cleo Coyle and really enjoying it. I had previously read most, if not all, of the series’ books. Then I became distracted by other authors’ enjoyable books. I kind of forgot what tight plotting, red herrings, and believable characters are in this series, Madame being my favorite. This is “A Coffeehouse Mystery” book. It was like catching up with old friends.

I’ve read all of the books Victoria Houston’s Loon Lake Series. The characters are well developed and feel like friends. I’m anxious to read Dead Big Dawg.

Lydia, I too am a fan of the Coffeehouse Mystery series. I like that Claire is a little more mature than some of our amateur sleuths and I adore Madame.
