I read Frances Brody’s A Snapshot of Murder and thought it was her best work yet. I enjoyed it very much.
I think that Janet Finsilver’s Murder at the Marina looks interesting so I will be looking for her book also. I do find a number of authors to read from your lists and I thank you for them.

Michael, thanks for your recommendation, and you’re welcome!

I believe this book is the 10th in the Kate Shackelton series, OR POSSIBLY THE 11th…Seems another one, supposedly the origin of the series, is also new, but MAY only be in electronic versions. In any case, A snapshot of Murder is not the 9th in the series.
1. Dying in the Wool (2009)
2. A Medal For Murder (2010)
3. Murder in the Afternoon (2011)
4. A Woman Unknown (2012)
5. Murder on a Summer’s Day (2013)
6. Death of an Avid Reader (2014)
7. A Death in the Dales (2015)
8. Death at the Seaside (2016)
9. Death in the Stars (2017)
10. A Snapshot of Murder (2018)
Kate Shackleton’s First Case (2018)

Irene, you are correct, I’ve adjusted this post. And I don’t include Kate Shackleton’s First Case in that listing for several reasons:
1. I cannot find it on Amazon or Barnes and Noble, the sites I reference the most for books. The only sites I can find it on so far are other “book lists” type sites, not places you can actually buy books.
2. It is a prequel, so I don’t include it in chronologies like this since it isn’t released “in order” with the rest of the series. I would still include it in the actual author’s page, of course, if 1. above wasn’t true.
3. I think it might also be a shorter story, which I don’t include in the chronologies. Again, it would still go on her page, if it seemed to exist in major retailer’s sites.
PS: I took out your first comment and edited this one slightly to remove your reference to it.

Thanks. Completely agree about the “First Case” whatever it is! As always, you are the BEST.
