It’s a suspense thriller, though. She also writes romances and self-help books, it seems.
I found this out by googling Dicey Deere, from which I learned (from her publisher’s site) that she lives in Sag Harbor, NY. I then googled “Dicey Deere” and “Sag Harbor” and found the site http://www.fineartistmade.com/testimonials.php, which mentioned her true name.
I guess I’m just good at google stalking. 😛

Oh thank you so much for all the ‘sleuthing’ on Dicey Deere . . .I just finished the 4 ‘Irish . . . series’ books featuring Torey Tunnet . . . the 4th one was published 10 years ago, in 2004!! . . . Oh I do miss Torey already . . . and Ms. Deere’s writing style was wonderful!! I could not put any of the books down . . . and could never figure out early on ‘who dun it’. I do wish she would write more ‘Irish . . ‘ series books.

DIcey Deere, born Harriet Labarre, died on June of 2015 at the age of 95.
I wish she had written Irish Murder books.
