Some of you may remember a blog entry I posted on Dec. 16, 2016 about Ellery Adams. (What’s the Cozy News?) Ellery Adams’s Book Retreat Mystery Series has a three book contract with Kensington Publishers. (Let’s hope it goes so well that there will be even more than three in this series’ future!) Kensington will also start publishing Ellery’s The Secret Book and Scone Society in hardcover format, and they have committed to at least three books in this series. Great news!
And, finally (since I’m doing this alphabetically), Krista Davis has signed a contract for three more Domestic Diva Cozies! Yahoo!

Danna, Thanks for the updates! I love the Ellery Adams Book Retreat series and have read all three. I hope there are more of this series. I am also thrilled to hear about the additional Domestic Diva series. Krista Davis has become one of my ‘must buy when released’ authors and I have already finished Mission Impawsible, so I now waiting impatiently for her next book.

So glad Adams’ Bake Shop series will continue. Just got “Fudge and Jury” and it’ll be my next read. Hope the book retreat series does continue. It’s fun and refreshing in that it doesn’t revolve around a bakery, restaurant, etc., though I ain’t knocking those.

Love all Ellie Alexanders books, have read them all, looking forward to the new ones. Met Ellie at the Rogue River library a year or two ago and got hooked on her books.
Just finished one of Lea Wait’s antique prints mysteries, have read all of them plus her Mainely Needlepoint series. Keep up the writing Lea

I like the news updates. I read all of these authors. My favorite is Jane Cleland. Her character Josie owns an antique business and warehouse and Josie herself is very unique! I am glad that these authors are being continued.

Terrym, thanks for telling us how much you enjoy Jane Cleland’s Cozy Mysteries. She only publishes one book a year, so a lot of us have to wait patiently from year to year for a new Josie Prescott, but the wait is worth it!

Hmmm……………Sheila Connolly currently authors 3 series that I read. I see she also has the Dead series on kindle only. Does this mean she’s adding a fourth (or is it fifth?) ‘current’ series. Or will she drop one of her other series?
She has upcoming releases in the Orchard series and the County Cork series, but none is listed (as of yet) for the Museum series (or the Dead series). She certainly is prolific, but I hope there’s no quality decline.

MJ, I was pleasantly surprised to see that she will now be writing one more series. I don’t know how some of these authors can write so many Cozies each year, but it’s a good thing for their fans. I don’t know if she’s planning on dropping one, but certainly hope she doesn’t…
