I have a few pieces of good news for Cozy Mystery fans!
First, Leslie Budewitz will be releasing a stand alone suspense novel, titled Blind Faith, starring two women in Montana who will be working together to solve a 35 year old murder case. Budewitz writes the Food Lovers’ Village Mystery Series, starring Erin Murphy, a general store manager in Montana, and the Spice Shop Mystery Series starring Pepper Reece, the divorcee owner of a spice shop in Seattle.

Carlene, I’m not sure! I put up these news posts as soon as I hear a book is in the works – so it likely hasn’t been written yet, and as such won’t have a firm release date.

So glad you’re interested in BLIND FAITH, written under my suspense name, Alicia Beckman. It will be out Oct 11, 2022, from Crooked Lane Books; no cover yet so I haven’t been shouting about it, but it is already available for pre-order.

Thanks for the shout-out! I should mention that BLIND FAITH, like my first suspense novel, BITTERROOT LAKE, will be published under the pen name Alicia Beckman. Why? Publisher’s request, just to keep them separate from the cozies, although they aren’t the least bit gory or graphic — just a little moodier.
