Upcoming Mysteries on Turner Classic Movies for June 2021

May 20, 2021

The Turner Classic Movies channel is starting the month with a celebration of movies that fit the Memorial Day bill. They are then going to follow those movies with some campy style movies. I have mentioned before that I watch some pretty campy movies, so I’ll be busy “taping” some of those to save for my October month (Halloween) TV-watching. The campier – the better!

Thursday, June 3 will have a whole lot of mystery movies in store for us to watch/tape/DVR. Be sure to check them out – I sure intend to! On Wednesday, June 9, TCM will be showing the Andy Hardy movies. These are not mysteries, however, if you enjoy old black and white family movies, these are for you! I watched them a few years ago and found them to be very “feel good” movies.

TCM will be showing many movies that focus on crimes committed by young people this month. (Think West Side Story without the singing, snapping of fingers, and dancing.) They are also featuring summer wedding/honeymoon movies during June. Also, the last weekend in June is devoted to Alfred Hitchcock movies.

Upcoming Mysteries on Turner Classic Movies for May 2021

April 22, 2021

The Turner Classic Movies channel is beginning the month of May 2021 by showing movies that received Oscar nominations/wins. TCM has an interesting theme on May 5 which answers the question: how would you go about getting rid of a body? This is followed by several movies that take place in the court – I suppose trying to find out who got rid of the body that was “gotten rid of” by the culprit…

TCM will be showing several film noir movies on May 19 — which ought to be fun for a lot of us. And, as I mentioned, there will be court-themed movies as well. The court-themed movies will be aired on a few days of the month. I love it when the channel has theme days that are based on different types of mysteries.

The last three days of May the Turner Classic Movies channel will be airing Memorial Day-themed movies. I had no idea there were so many!

Upcoming Mysteries on Turner Classic Movies for April 2021

March 17, 2021

The first of April starts with the letter A, and so forth. If they have done this before, I missed picking up on it. They have had “theme” days before, but this is a new one on me!
