These are the newest four authors who you all recommended to be included on the Cozy Mystery site. For those of you who are wondering where your recommended authors are… I have more than fifty other authors on my list and will be posting them… eventually.

The newest four authors added to the site (all of whom were recommended by Cozy Mystery site readers) are:

Linda Hall: Hall was awarded the American Christian Fiction Writers Book of the Year Award in 2008, as well as the The Word Guild Award for best Christian mystery in Canada…

Gail Oust: Oust writes the Bunco Babes Mystery Series which features a retirement community Bunco group of (senior) sleuths. (Bunco is a type of dice game…)

Denise Tucker: Tucker is an Associate Professor who writes the Madame President Mystery Series, which is unique in that each book of the series features a famous house, castle, or villa.

Eugenia Lovett West: West writes the Emma Streat Mystery Series which features a former opera diva/sleuth. The series is set in Boston…

Here are four new authors to the Cozy Mystery Site… These authors have come to me via your recommendations:

Jessica Beck: Donut Shop Mystery Series is set in North Carolina and features a sleuth who is the owner of Donut Hearts Coffee Shop… Donut recipes are included in the books…

Lisa Bork: Broken Vows Mystery Series takes place in New York and the sleuth is the owner of a sports car boutique… It’s no accident that she solves crimes!

Kate Ellis: Wesley Peterson Mystery Series features an archaeologist/sergeant and an inspector in England, Joe Plantagenet Mystery Series features a British inspector, and Lady Katheryn Bulkeley Mystery Series features an abbess of an English convent. (Ellis combines archaeology,  history, and mystery when writing her novels. Not Cozy)

Christy Evans: Georgiana Neverall Mystery Series has, as its sleuth, an apprentice plumber who left her job as an executive and moves back home to Oregon…

The four latest mystery book authors who some of you have recommended to be included on the site are:

Carole Buggé: Claire Rawlings Mystery Series which has an editor in New York as its sleuth (who is helped by her young ward) AND the Sherlock Holmes Mystery Series which involves the fictional Holmes character as the sleuth… 

Jana DeLeon: Ghost-in-Law Mystery Series takes place in Louisiana and features a botanist and her best friend who are the sleuths. They happen to be helped by the botanist’s mother-in-law… that’s dead mother-in-law… 

B. B. Haywood: Candy Holliday Mystery Series features a sleuth who returns home to Maine to co-manage Blueberry Acres Farm. Blueberry-based recipes are included…

Mary Kennedy: Talk Radio Mystery Series features an ex-clinical psychologist who takes to the air waves as a talk show radio hostess in Florida. (Mary Kennedy is a psychologist who has also worked as a radio copywriter…)

First of all, thanks for all of your recommendations. I keep thinking that I will (at last!) catch up, but I still have a rather large number of authors who you all think belong on the site. I know that all of the authors who are recommended for the site are not Cozy mystery authors, but they are authors who other Cozy mystery readers think are really good.

The latest four mystery authors who I have (finally) put on the Cozy Mystery site are:

Luisa Buehler: Grace Marsden Mystery Series… Grace has obsessive/compulsive disorders which “help” her solve cold case mysteries…

Sarah Rayne: Rayne writes psychological thrillers, some of which look like they are quite “paranormal” to me…

Rebecca Tope: Cotswold Mystery Series… This British mystery series features a house-sitter. (Tope ghostwrote the mysteries which are the basis of the Rosemary and Thyme shows as well as two other mystery series: Den Cooper Mystery Series and Drew Slocombe Mystery Series.)

Leslie Wheeler: Living History Mystery Series… Wheeler has her Bachelor’s from Stanford in both English and history, and her Master’s in English from UC/Berkeley. She uses all of these degrees to write a mystery series which features an author of history textbooks.
