Upcoming Television Christmas Movies for December 2014

November 23, 2014

Our daughter is coming home for her Thanksgiving vacation on Tuesday, so I have spent the last week getting all of our Christmas decorations up as well as getting all of the food I’ll need to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. (It’s been rather hectic!) Since I just finished getting the last of the Christmas things up, I decided that this would be a great time to finally finish my list of Christmas movies that will be airing on television during the month of December (2014).

(I am only listing the Christmas movie premier dates for the Hallmark, Lifetime, and ION channels’ movies.)

Upcoming Halloween Television Movies for October 2014

September 30, 2014

As I told you several days ago, my October television movies are going to be a little different. I have just posted them Upcoming Television Mystery Movies that will be airing this month, but now I want to tell you about some Halloween Television movies that will be airing during October 2014.

I have broken this entry into three Paranormal categories (well, actually there are four categories since I found a Christmas movie that will be airing this month): Ghosts, Halloween/Horror, and  Vampires.

I have gone through the Turner Classic Movies channel, as well as the Hallmark Movie channel mystery movies. Also, I took a look at what I could on the Hallmark Channel, and for all of you fans of The Good Witch – I have posted the Hallmark Channel’s marathon at the very bottom of the entry. This year will be bringing us a new movie in the series. I know there are more than a few of you who (like me) enjoy that Hallmark movie series!

You will see that I highlighted Vincent Price every time he appears in a movie this month. What can I say? Lists of Halloween movies just don’t seem complete without his (sometimes quite campy!) appearances.

If you know of any other Television Halloween Movie that will be airing during the month (October), please post a comment. We’d all love to know about it. Thank you!

Hallmark Channel & Lifetime Channel New Holiday Movies for 2013

October 30, 2013

I went over to the Hallmark channel‘s site to see if I could find a list of all of their new 2013 holiday movies. Sure enough, I did! They will be showing their original holiday movies during an allotted time they are calling their “Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas“, which will be at 7:00 (Central time zone) every Saturday and Sunday night.

I then went over to the Lifetime channel to see what they have in store for us.  Lifetime is calling their holiday schedule “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” and it airs at 7:00 PM (Central) on Saturday nights.

(Yikes! Both Hallmark and Lifetime are airing their original holiday movies at 7:00 PM Central? OK, not to worry… We’re just going to have to do some choosing and then re-arranging to find out which holiday movie will air again the quickest.)

Just to make it a little easier for all of us, I’m going to list the premier dates of  both Hallmark’s 2013 holiday movies and Lifetime’s 2013 holiday movies under the correct dates. (You’ll have to check to see when they will be re-airing the shows if you miss these showings. Or, if you’re lucky, let your DVR figure it out!)

Also, I’ll be adding my comments about some of the actors/actresses I recognize. This will definitely date me! (As Joe Friday might say: Just the dates, Ma’am.)
