It’s a little late in the month, but I have some good news regarding upcoming Cozies to share with you all!
First up, Rhys Bowen will be writing at least two more in the Molly Murphy Mystery Series, including the 18th named Wild Irish Rose and an as-yet-unnamed 19th entry. This will be the first entries in the series that Bowen (currently 79 years old) will be writing with her daughter, Clara Broyles.
Catherine Bruns will be starting a new series, the Maple Syrup Shop Mystery Series, with the first entry titled There’s Nothing Sweet About Murder, as well as at least two more entries in the series. This series will star a Lebanese-American woman who is returning to her hometown of Sugar Ridge, Vermont, to take over her family’s maple syrup business after the death of her father in what appears to be a robbery.
Next up, Krista Davis has been confirmed to be working on at least two more entries in the Paws & Claws Mystery Series, starring Holly Miller, an employee at a family owned inn intended for both owners and their pets. No news yet on the names of these entries, which will bring the series to at least nine entries.
Betty Hechtman will be continuing the Writer For Hire Mystery Series with at least three more entries, which will bring the series starring a writer for hire to a total of at least four entries. Again, no news on specific names of titles at this time.
Finally, Victoria Houston will be writing at least two more entries in her long-running mystery series, the Loon Lake Fishing Mystery Series, with two entries – Wolf Hollow, and another entry as-yet-unannounced. This will take the series starring a police chief and a retired dentist to at least 21 entries.
