I have a few pieces of good news for Cozy Mystery fans!

First, Leslie Budewitz will be releasing a stand alone suspense novel, titled Blind Faith, starring two women in Montana who will be working together to solve a 35 year old murder case. Budewitz writes the Food Lovers’ Village Mystery Series, starring Erin Murphy, a general store manager in Montana, and the Spice Shop Mystery Series starring Pepper Reece, the divorcee owner of a spice shop in Seattle.

Second, Leslie Karst will be releasing two more books in her Sally Solari Mystery Series, starring an ex-lawyer who now is the shop manager of an Italian restaurant in Santa Cruz, California. This will bring the series to a total of at least six entries.

 

 

I’ve got two pieces of good news about established Cozy site authors this month!

First, Allison Brook (aka Marilyn Levinson) will be putting out at least two more entries in her Haunted Library Mystery Series, starring Carrie Singleton, head of programs and events at a library in Connecticut. This will take the series to a total of seven entries.

 

 

Also, Maddie Day (aka Edith Maxwell & Tace Baker) will be releasing three more books in the Cozy Capers Mystery Book Group Mystery Series, starring Mackenzie “Max” Almeida, a bicycle shop owner in Massachusetts. This will bring the series to a total of at least six entries.

It’s news time! This one will be a bit short – this month, I have two pieces of Cozy news by established site authors to share with you!

First up, Lynn Cahoon will be writing three more books for the Kitchen Witch Mystery Series, which will take the series starring cook and witch Mia Malone to at least five entries.

 

 

 

Jessica Ellicott (who also writes as Jessie Crockett and Jessica Estevao) will be putting out three more entries in her Beryl and Edwina Mystery Series, which will bring the series to at least eight books.

I’ve got three pieces of good news about upcoming releases by established Cozy Mystery authors!

First, V.M. Burns will be releasing a new series under the name Valerie Burns, the Baker Street Mystery Series, which will be at least three entries long and is set to star a woman inheriting a bakery and a bullmastiff in Michigan from a deceased great aunt. Burns is already the author of the Mystery Bookshop Mystery Series, starring another Michigan sleuth owning a book store, and the Dog Club Mystery Series, starring a divorced CPA in Tennessee.

Next up, Maria DiRico (aka Ellen Byron), will be continuing her Catering Hall Mystery Series with at least a fourth entry in the series confirmed. Good news for readers who were disappointed that the Cajun Country Mystery Series has come to an end!

 

 

Finally, Amanda Flower   (aka Isabella Alan) will be starting a new series, the Emily Dickenson Mystery Series, starring the actual poet solving mysteries in 1850s Massachusetts, narrated by her fictional maid. The first entry will be titled Because I Could Not Stop For Death. Flower is already the author of the Farm to Table Mystery Series, the Amish Candy Shop Mystery Series, the Magical Bookshop Mystery Series, and the Amish Matchmaker Mystery Series, among others.
