An hour ago, Carolyn Hart posted this message on her Facebook page:
Annie and Max are back. Annie and Max looked me in the eye and said, “Don’t even think about it!” I realized I’d miss them too much. So I changed my mind and hope to write their 26th adventure as soon as Bailey Ruth persuades a lovelorn ghost to climb the shining stairs to Heaven. My best- Carolyn
So, we can all breath a big sigh of relief! It doesn’t matter if Annie and Max “Don’t Go Home” quite yet, but either way, they’ll be around for a while so that a whole lot of Cozy Mystery readers can continue to enjoy them!

I am so happy about Annie and Max continuing on! The Death on Demand books are on the top of my list of great mystery series. I want Carolyn to be happy with her writing and for her to reconsider is amazing! Yea!!!!

Hollis, I am happy that Carolyn Hart will be continuing the Death on Demand series, too. Even if she slows down to just releasing one every other year, she’d be keeping a lot of Cozy Mystery readers very happy!

so glad that Annie and Max are “coming out of retirement.” It’s a great series and would be a shame to stop now. Besides, the cats would be missed, along with Max’s mom and Emma.

Dear Danna,
I asked about the Death on Demand series awhile ago.
I have a question about the Death on Demand series.
In each book there is a series of paintings depicting scenes from
various mystery novels for a contest for whoever can guess the titles.
What happens to the paintings after the contest? Does the artist
repaint the canvases for the next month’s contest or is there a museum who gets them?
Here’s what Carolyn Hart’s answer is.
What an intriguing question. I believe the paintings are collected and at the end of the year there is an auction with the proceeds going to the island community center. Best Regards – Carolyn Hart
