UPDATE: Apparently this aired back in June and July as well! Sorry about that, folks. Well, the future airing information is still good at least!
Well, I know I said I wasn’t going to be doing anymore Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel movies since their website is so doggone difficult to navigate, but I just found out about a new mystery movie series they will be starting in a few days EDIT: a mystery movie series that I apparently missed because their channel is hard to use! Judy Koester says
I agree their website is oddly difficult to manuever and I often give up in frustration. However, I really enjoy the mysteries!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Judy, I certainly wish that they would at least just give a schedule more than a few weeks out.
Pamela Anne says
Forget the website. Just go to the Hallmark Mystery channel. There are 2 Hallmark Channels. I generally only watch the Mystery Channel. They show their shows OVER AND OVER AGAIN. It’s much easier this way. Good Luck
Hanna says
I love these Hallmark Mysteries: Garage Sale, the Fixer Upper and the Aurora Teagarden series. And, were it not for you, Danna, I would have never known about these series. And I am glad that they repeat them thus, if I miss any – the Case for Murder was yesterday when spouse was going to watch the very uncozy Game of Thrones finale – I am glad to have more opportunities to view.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Hanna, I’m glad that you’ve been able to find new series that you can enjoy from the site postings!
Pamela Anne says
Danna…I do not understand the August promo on Garage Sales Mysteries. It seemed silly to me. We have been watching the shows for several years. IT WAS GREAT to see 4 new ones. I loved it/
But the promotion of New Mystery Series. To we regulars, it seemed just not the right approach. Sorry.
Denise Hunter says
Please don’t stop letting us know about HMM shows!!! Thank you so much!! I almost missed these!!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Denise, I can’t promise that I’ll be able to find all of these sorts of things for future poss – unfortunately sometimes I don’t even know about some of them until they’re past.
Bek says
I tend to skim the HMM channel every couple of days, looking ahead for the posted 2 weeks on my cable schedule. I can email anything I find to you, if you would like that. Just let me know.
Pamela Anne says
Great way to keep up. You can record your favorites and enjoy them all the time.
Nancy says
Love the garage sale movies. Lori Laughlin is absolutely perfect,
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Nancy, you’re not alone in that opinion!
Bek says
I believe, looking WAY ahead, that there will be more Garage Sale Mysteries coming out in January.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bek, I’m sure there are lots of people looking forward to those!
Lora says
Site Unseen aired back in July.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Lora, looks like you’re right. Actually, according to IMDB (which I trust more at this point than the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries website), it actually aired first in June!
Hmm, have I mentioned lately that it’s hard to find out about good mysteries’ airdates from the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries website? This seems like a good point to mention that.
Charlene McGowan says
That Dana Cameron movie is a repeat. We saw it recently on Hallmark
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Charlene, yes, apparently that’s the case. Sorry about that! I’m both a bit embarrassed that I didn’t check this more carefully and renewed in my undying displeasure at the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel website.
PamB says
Danna, don’t you be hard on yourself! You’re the best in furnishing us cozy readers so much information. I think I’ve said in a past comment that when there is blog post from you I feel like I’ve received a present!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
PamB, thanks for the kind words, it’s just sometimes a bit of a letdown when I feel like I’ve got something new to introduce.
Kathleen Kendler says
Thanks. Too bad Comcast has redone their system and I can only go out two weeks to schedule these movies as they are not considered a series by comcast. I’ll keep this list near my DVR,
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Kathleen, sounds like a good way to make sure you pick them up!
Gina says
The Emma Fielding movie isn’t new. It already aired.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Gina, yes, apparently that’s the case. A bit embarrassing on my part >>> but not exactly surprising. I managed to miss it somehow when it originally aired.
Deanna says
Thanks so much for posting the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. I just got this channel about 2 weeks ago and really love it. I have been wanting it forever, and our new cable companydecided to offer it in their package deal.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Deanna, it certainly does have a lot of movies that fit Cozy themes! I’m glad you were able to get it on your new cable company!
Rachel A Hyde says
Does anybody know if any of these are going to be (or have been) shown in the UK please? It would need to be on terrestrial or Sky TV for me as I don’t have a good enough internet speed for things like Netflix sadly. We used to have a Hallmark Channel but no longer; watching some shows like this would be a welcome break from the diet of the grim and the gritty which is mostly what UK drama is like!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Rachel, I don’t think that Hallmark lets other channels use their movies, unfortunately. It certainly would be nice if they were more widely available!
Annette A Jordan says
The Emma Fielding mystery was very good enjoyed a lot, hope they continue it.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Annette, thanks for letting us know – I’m glad that it’s something the rest of us can look forward to!
Rose Kerr says
Thanks for providing us with this information. I don’t have the Hallmark Movie Channel, I live in Canada so not sure if it’s available here. I do watch them on Bravo, and the W network. I enjoy The Garage Sale Series, Aurora Teagarden, and the Flower Shop Mysteries as well.I caught the Emma Fielding one in July when it aired and look forward to more of those as well.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Rose, yes, I’ve heard that the Hallmark channel isn’t widely available in a lot of countries other than the United States. It’s a shame, since they do put out a lot of Cozy mysteries.
Patricia says
Danna,
Thank you for posting the schedule for these movies. I know you work hard on all these lists. I also get frustrated with the Hallmark & HMM Schedules on their website.
Hallmark channel aired a new movie on August 27th. At Home in Mitford is based on the book series by Jan Karon. I missed it because didn’t notice it in my TV guide. I can’t find anything about it being aired again. I wonder why they promote some movies and not others.
I also find it hard to set up my DVR in advance sometimes due to the posted schedules on Direct TV.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Patricia, you’re very welcome, and thank you for the suggestion! I hope it does end up getting aired again sometime soon.
Bonny S says
I agree that searching for new Movies on the HMM website is difficult. I subscribe to the email newsletters for both the HMM and the HMC so I was aware of the four Garage Sale Mysteries premiering in August and caught the Emmy Fielding Mystery when it originally aired.
There is also a new production planned for October called Darrow & Darrow.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Bonny, that’s a good suggestion – maybe I’ll sign up for the newsletter as well.
Cuppacozy says
I keep up with Hallmark Movies and Mysteries on this site: itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com. You do have sift through a lot of other stuff if you only want mystery movies but you will get the scoop way ahead of time! This is a family friendly site.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Cuppacozy, thanks for the suggestion, I’ll have to take a look at the site sometime.
Mary Grace Murphy says
I wish my package included Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. Whenever there is a free preview, I record as many movies as I can. Love them!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Mary, that’s a real shame that it isn’t included in your cable package, but it isn’t exactly uncommon since it isn’t a “primary set” sort of channel. Definitely caters to a selective audience.
SQue says
Hello! Just found this site, great to see so many mystery lovers! I just finished watching the last Garage Sale Mystery tonight from recording it on Sunday. Love the stories and cast, I especially enjoy Sarah Strange ❤️ I noticed that some of you are have trouble finding when the shows are airing; not sure if anyone else has Spectrum, but I’ve had good luck typing in the title in the search box and it then shows all the upcoming air times. Also, if you missed one they re-air them frequently & the shows are usually available on demand for free for a limited time.
Happy watching!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
SQue, welcome to the site, and thanks for the suggestion! I’m glad that you found us, and that you’re also enjoying the Hallmark movies that have been on recently.
Fran Steadman says
I am fortunate enough to have access to two DVR’s for two different cable providers. I can search for the movies by title, if I have that, or even just the word “garage”, or “site” as mentioned above. Also, the HMM channel number on DISH is 187 for HD. On FIOS, the numbers are 239 and 739 for HD. If any of those numbers work for you, you can just browse the channels at your leisure. Most of the guides only go forward eight days, but you can schedule yourself when you have time to browse. I hope these suggestions help.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Fran, I can see how having a few different types of DVRs might be nice >>> there are certainly things I like more about my Tivo now that were worse on our older box, and vice versa!
Sharon says
Thank you for updated us about the Hallmark Mysteries. I love them!!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Sharon, you’re welcome!
Bek says
I do, too!
In fact, you all have ruined me! Just a few short months ago I had only the vaguest idea of the existence of a “cozy mystery.” Then a friend sent me a copy of one of the Bookmobile Cat books, and I found this site while searching for more of them. And now? Well, I have two bookcases of cozies, with many more to come, and I spend HOURS scanning my tv listings for movies I haven’t seen yet.
HI! My name is BEK, and I’m a COZY ADDICT!
Phyl says
I love the Flower Shop Mystery Movies. I hope that Hallmark will be making more of them. The actors are so good together.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Phyl, I know you’re not alone in that hope!
LoisZ says
My husband and I are really enjoying the “Garage Sale Mystery Movies”. We have been trying to figure out what part of the country they are set in. My attempts to find out keep hitting a brick wall. Could anyone share with us where they are supposed to be taking place? Thanks
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Lois, hmm, I’m not sure offhand. I know they’re filmed in British Columbia, so that wouldn’t be the worst guess in the world, but I doubt that’s where they are intended to take place! Maybe someone else knows?
George E M says
Hello to all at ‘Cozy Mystery .com’,
Though many of the male and female family members and friends I have have no interest in mystery movies on there own and especially not the Hallmark channel. . .
As a man in his early fifties I love it all!
I’m a great mystery fan (both in novel and movie / TV form) and wish the Hallmark channel would release these favourites (Garage Sale Mysteries, Aurora Teagarden, Murder She Baked, etc) on DVD!
Here’s to more Fixer Uppers, more Flower Shop mysteries, more Murder She Baked, Gourmet and Emma Fielding. . .
. . . And let’s say ‘Hello’ to Darrow & Darrow in October!
Danna - cozy mystery list says
George, I think that many of them are actually available on DVD, though only in individual form (and maybe not all of them, there are a lot after all and I haven’t checked all!). It definitely would be nice to get them in a box set or something similar though!
Lori says
Thank you very much for this schedule.
I love hallmark mysteries. Couldn’t find a schedule for the new movies. Finally found this.
These movies are so good. I can’t wait to see them all. Thanks again.
Danna - cozy mystery list says
Lori, you’re very welcome! I’m glad that this has been some use to you.
s.tash says
When will Darrow Darrow be repeated? We missed it so didn’t record?
Danna - cozy mystery list says
S.tash, sorry but I’m afraid I don’t know when it will repeat.
