I first began this website, I had just one cozy mystery author whose last
name began with "I". It was for that reason that I joined the "I" authors
with the "J" authors. But since then, I have added several more "I"
authors, and, with that, I gave the "I" authors their own page! I was
only familiar with the one author, but thanks to several site readers, I
have been "introduced" to the rest.

writes the Bath and Body mystery series. Yasmine Galenorn's two series
(Chintz 'n China and Sisters of the Moon) are mysteries with fantasy/romance,
and a little
supernatural thrown in...
Innes (aka John Innes Mackintosh Stewart) Innes
(the name he used when writing his mysteries) taught English after
graduating from Oxford. He is best known for his Inspector John Appleby
books. (On the
Crime Writers' Association Top 100 Crime Novels of All Time)
aka Cornell Woolrich &
George Hopley…. As Woolrich, he wrote the
novel which was later made into the classic Hitchcock movie “Rear Window.”
(aka Lady Catherine Manning) Ironside has written five stand-alone
Susan Isaacs Isaacs wrote the second mystery in her series twenty years after the first book
in the series. Although this amount of "between-time" is unusual, she is able to
pull this feat off!
Isenberg has her undergraduate degree from Vassar, with her doctorate from
Isleib (aka Lucy
Burdette) Isleib is a clinical psychologist who
writes two mystery series, one about a professional golfer and her second series is about a psychologist/advice columnist.
She has been nominated for both of the prestigious Agatha and Anthony
mystery awards. As Lucy Burdette, she writes the Key West Food Critic
Ivie Ivie writes the Kate Lawrence Mystery Series
which features a 40 (+) year old, who with the help of her two friends,
starts out in a Hartford law firm, and ends up as a realtor/sleuth...
