English Mystery Series – Unlikeable Boss – Cat – Beautiful Administrative Assistant…

I received this from Chris, asking for our help in identifying an author:

I stumbled across your site today searching for a series that I cannot remember – either the author or any titles… I was wondering if you could assist on the search for the series I originally wanted.  It is set in England, the principals are police. The sgt is always worried about being ill, no one likes the boss, there is a cat which drives the boss crazy, a beautiful admin assistant and of course the Inspector(not sure of the title)…

Crime Bake 2011…

I received a letter from Janet Halpin, who is the Program Ad Coordinator of the New England Crime Bake 2011. She has told me about the 10th annual mystery conference they will be having in Dedham, Massachusetts on November 11, 12, and 13 of this year. (It looks to me like Dedham is almost attached to Boston, but I’m not quite sure…)

The two guests of honor this year are Nancy Pickard and Barry Eisler. BUT… That’s not all! There will be many panelists there, also. Here is just a small list of those who will be attending:

I’ll Be Back…

I wish I could catch on to my daughter’s laptop… Unfortunately, I can’t.

I am out in the D. C. area, and am having a terrible time trying to type responses to your comments. So, I have just posted a bunch of your comments, and will add authors to lists, ETC. when I get back in town. Her laptop keyboard is very touchy, and, frustrating for me to use.

We spent a lovely day in Monticello today, and I am loving the landscape out here. Talk to you soon…
