Unfortunately, we have lost another in the Cozy author community recently. Sheila Connolly passed away toward the end of April at the age of 70.
Sheila Connolly was the author of multiple very popular Cozy Mystery series, including the Orchard Mystery Series, the Museum Mysteries Series, the Relatively Dead Mystery Series, the Victorian Village Mystery Series, and the County Cork Mystery Series, the last of which I wrote a blog entry about. Under the pen name Sarah Atwell, she was also the author of the Glassblowing Mystery Series.
Rest in Peace, Sheila. You will be missed by many, and our sympathies go out to her family and friends.
I hope you are all doing well. I know these are very sad and difficult times. My husband and I are pretty much hunkered down here in San Antonio, so we are both doing a whole lot of reading and watching TV. Luckily, we get the Disney streaming channel, so we have been enjoying some rather clever animated movies. My husband is re-watching all of the Toy Story movies, however, I’ve decided to pass on watching them yet another time. We recently watched “Onward” which both of us enjoyed immensely. We are also making our way through the Raymond Burr Perry Mason shows and also, we just finished the DCI Banks (British) mystery series. I was particularly sorry to see that end.
