I read both the Donna Andrews and the Jenn McKinley books. They were both terrific, as I expected.
The Snowbirds in the Andrews book are a group of Canadians working on a project at Mutant Wizards, and they bring a different angle to the Langslow Christmas series. The killer in this books is one of several that are on the suspect list, but it really was near the end when I figured it out.
In Jenn’s latest, the library in Briar Creek has a huge and very valuable private collection donated by a long time BC family. The twist and turns in the plot are really interesting. I didn’t figure out the killer until about a chapter before the reveal, which I always appreciate.
Both of these authors just seem to get better and better!

Susy, thanks for the recommendations! It’s no surprise though – both those authors are very reliable!
