Here is the list of new releases for May 20 to May 26! Well… more like “release” than “releases”… but still.
Kathleen Bridge: Murder by the Sea (This will be the 3rd in the By the Sea Mystery Series.)
Agatha Frost: Vegetables and Vengeance (This will be the 16th in the Peridale Cafe Mystery Series.)

Pineapple Puppies by Amy Vansant is out this week also. It’s the 9th book in an hilarious series. Charlotte was raised in 55+ community in Florida by her grandmother. When her grandmother passes, her grandmothers friends become her guardian and she becomes a permanent resident. Quirky characters, handsome love interest and lots of laughs. Fun read!

Katariina, thanks for the recommendation! I’ll have to look that one up some time – though my To Be Read pile is quite long at this point!

Vegetables and Vengeance by Agatha Frost is scheduled for release on 5/23/19. The release was postponed from last month.

Janice, thanks for the heads up! I’ve added it to this week’s list.

JUST ONE? And NOT one of “mine”? Huh. However, I’ve recently had the “Haunting Danielle” series brought to my attention, and THAT series is now 20 books strong…and it’s a paranormal, and you know how I am about those!

Bek, some weeks are just light like that! Still, it should give you some time to catch up, or in this case dive into a new series!

LOL, I have PLENTY to read. I binge-read cozies. Start with the first book in the series, and read all the way through, back to back. Right now, I am reading the Tea Shop series (Laura Child), and am then FINALLY reading the entire The Cat Who series and the Mrs. Murphy series. Yeah, I have enough to keep me out of trouble and off the streets for a minute or two! People think I’m strange for reading them like that, but I love to just immerse myself in the author’s world, and follow the lives of the characters in a very organic way.

Bek, it isn’t that weird. I frequently read one book in a series to be sure the rest are worth my time and so I know what they are like, I will often then read several (or all the ones I have) in a row.
It just depends on whether I want to live in their world for a few (or several) days, or if I want to wander from world to world for a few days. There are also a few authors who I will read as soon as I get my hands on the next book in a series. Jenn McKinlay is a great example of that – I finished a book on a Friday night and went to a signing the next day for her newest book, Dying for Devil’s for Food, which I finished on Sunday.

Well, there are any number of series that I’m now simply reading the newest one. I just read the new Joe Grey book. I can’t believe that Ms. Murray is 91 years old!

I am in the same place with most of my favorite authors. I am trying not to read anyone new until I get my TBR list back to the point it was at the beginning of this year. I read several new authors in the spring and then bought a bunch of their books at used book stores, so now I have a lot of catching up to do.

We’re just going to have to give up and live forever!

I have a love hate relationship with a few authors. I love their books and can’t wait for the next one, but I hate that I can’t help myself and have to buy them as soon as they come out.
