Will be picking up the Liz Mugavero and Sofie Ryan books tomorrow from my friendly, neighborhood bookstore. I really enjoy both of these series.

Robin, those definitely sound like some good picks!

Heading to the bookstore first thing tomorrow morning to get the Diane Kelly and Sophie Ryan books.
Unless unpacking my house takes too much time, I will probably read them both before the end of the week. That is one of the joys of retirement!

Susy, sounds like you’ll be getting right into it! Well, retirement certainly seems like a fine time to catch up on the things you love.

I just had to add my 2 cents. I have been retired for two years and can read a book in a day if it is a Rhys Bowen “Her Spyness” series, or a Laura Child “Scrapbooking Series” or just about anything I see reviewed on this blog.
My criteria is good mystery, good characters and a touch of humor.
Welcome to the reading retirees I love sitting in a chair all cozy and starting a new book. Thank you, Mom I am sure glad I inherited your love of reading.

Karen, all of those books definitely sound like a good way to spend a day!
