Here is the list of new releases for December 31 to January 6! Well, it’s a bit late… between the end of month recommendations and the beginning of month releases for February, this was the post that sort of “slipped through the cracks” for a while. Still, better late than never!
Ellie Alexander (aka Kate Dyer-Seeley): Live and Let Pie (This will be the 9th in the Bakeshop Mystery Series.)
Lorraine Bartlett (aka L. L. Bartlett & Lorna Barrett): The Reluctant Bride (This will be the 5th story in the Life On Victoria Square Mystery Series.)
Tami Hoag: The Boy (This will be a Stand Alone thrilling mystery.)
Molly MacRae: Crewel and Unusual (This will be the 6th in the Haunted Yarn Shop Mystery Series.)

Babypinkroses, you’re welcome, and I’m always glad to hear when the lists and themes are useful to people! It’s a lot of work, and knowing that people are getting something out of them really helps keep my motivation up.

Three out of four, and I am now on a fixed income. I will just have to focus on reading the ones I already have and hope I can find the new ones in a used bookstore soon.
My co-workers were kind enough to give me gift cards to both new and used bookstores as retirement gifts. Obviously I have always talked about books a lot.
Happy New Year to all and may 2019 bring you many good books and the time to read them.

Susy, congratulations on the retirement! I’ve definitely found that whenever I’ve been short on money, used bookstores and used online purchases were often helpful to make an entertainment budget stretch a bit further.

Don’t forget your local library. I am lucky to have a very good library that’s only about 5 minutes from me and I get a lot of books there. They are in a program where I can reserve a book and if they don’t have it they get it from another library for me. I may have to wait a bit especially if it’s a new book, but it saves a lot of money.

Pat, that’s a good suggestion.
