Happy Thanksgiving, to everyone who practices it! This isn’t going to be a particularly elaborate Thanksgiving for our family, just spending some family time with my husband and our son, but I’m grateful nonetheless for the opportunity to do so. Even if you don’t live in the United States, I hope all of you can find some time to think about what you’re thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving! We’ve had a lovely day, just taking it easy and feeling blessed for one another (my husband and I). Stay well!

Happy Thanksgiving to you.
I have your site bookmarked on my obscure Chromebook but alas! Your site is the seasonal treat I need!
Thank you for keeping it open all hours.
Kind regards,
Mr Bacon

Happy Thanksgiving to you! I read recently about Pollyanna, who saw the bright side in everything. The writer cautioned against rose-colored glasses, but said that there is good, a reason to be thankful, in every situation. Maybe not obvious, but present. So thank you for the reminder to look at things the right way – and to keep a cozy mystery close at hand.

Thank you, Danna. I don’t have any family nearby as my brother and nephew are in Vermont, niece in Oregon. I’m alone in living in MI.
I also suffer from IBS so my holidays are pretty solitary. A good friend brought me a plate of her family’s meal complete with Pumpkin Pie so I did have a feast.
I also read a number of books over the weekend. Hope you and yours enjoyed your holiday with your son.
Sincerely, Rob Jarrad

Has anyone here read J.R. Ellis’s Yorkshire Murder Mysteries? I just came across his name and was wondering what you all think before I buy any. One site says the first few are cozy mysteries, but he’s not listed here, so I’m not sure if that’s true. Also, does anyone know what century they’re set in?

No I never heard of this author. If you read it let me know how it was. I love a finding a new author.
