Every year at this time I think about how neat it used to be when both of our children were home for the summer months. I was one of those parents who didn’t like it when they went back to school… the house always felt so quiet and lonely. I don’t have a huge amount to say about the upcoming month of August’s mystery movies – there are a few small “marathons” of mystery movies, usually arranged by actor, such as the Henry Fonda marathon on the first and the Melvyn Douglas marathon on the 5th, but aside from those this is just going to be a relatively normal month for TCM mystery movies.
