There will be one new upcoming Cozy Mystery series by an established site author with their first releases in May!

Kirsten Weiss will be releasing Big Shot, the first in her new Small Town Cozy Mystery Series. Former bodyguard Alice is returning to her small hometown after a job gone bad, only to find more trouble when she arrives… and this time, all the evidence points to her brother as the probable culprit. Weiss is also the author of the Tea and Tarot Mystery Series, starring Abigail Beanblossom, a tea room owner and tarot reader, the Pie Town Mystery Series, starring a pie whop owner named Valentine Harris, and the Perfectly Proper Paranormal Museum Mystery Series, starring Maddie Kosloski, the manager of a local paranormal museum, among others.

There will be one new upcoming Cozy Mystery series by an established site author with their first releases in March!

Gigi Pandian will be releasing Under Lock & Skeleton Key, the first in the Secret Staircase Mystery Series. The first in what promises to be an architecturally based mystery series will start out with one of the most classic mystery premises of all time, the locked room murder. Tempest Raj is heading back to her childhood home in California, and it’s only a matter of time before she also returns to her father’s construction company specializing in eccentric architecture like hidden passages and (as mentioned in the series name) secret staircases. But when a former coworker turns up dead in a passage that was supposedly sealed for over a century, she’ll need to use all of her architectural and mystery solving prowess to determine the killer. Pandian is also the author of the Jaya Jones Treasure Hunt Mystery Series starring an antiquarian adventurer and the Accidental Alchemist Mystery Series starring an alchemist in Oregon.

I won’t be discussing this one as much because it doesn’t look particularly “Cozy”, but Wendy Roberts will also be releasing Burning Hope, the first in her Red Hooper Mystery Series. Despite having paranormal elements (a popular element in many Cozy series), this one looks more like a thriller to me… but it might be worth picking up nevertheless.

We’ll have a single new Cozy Mystery series coming out in February 2022!

Jeanne M. Dams will be releasing Murder in the Park, which will be the first in the Oak Park Village Mystery Series. Elizabeth Fairchild is a relatively recent widow following the first World War. By 1925, she lives with her weatlhy parents in Oak Park, Illinois. One of her closest friends is Mr. Anthony, owner of the local antiques store – but unfortunately, he is murdered behind his shop. When one of her family friends is accused of the crime, Elizabeth will need to expose the true killer. Dams is also the author of the Dorothy Martin Mystery Series, starring a retired American schoolteacher in England, and the Hilda Johansson Mystery Series, starring a maid in 1920s Indiana.
