She ends up lodging with Edwina Davenport, an old school friend hard up for money and eager to take in a lodger – even one a bit more “boisterous” than she might have chosen. Still, it doesn’t take long for old habits to return, and Beryl quickly finds herself wrapped up in another adventure – this one a race to find a murderer before they can strike. This might be the first series under the name Jessica Ellicott, but you might recognize her work under the names Jessie Crockett (the Sugar Grove Mystery Series) and Jessica Estevao (the Change of Fortune Mystery Series).
