Seems like it was just yesterday when I added the last four new authors to the site… Actually, I added them some time ago… up to a week or two ago, but I just “officially” added them by introducing them to all of you. Today I have four (or five) new authors to introduce:

James D. Doss: Doss (a retired engineer from Los Alamos National Laboratory) writes the Charlie Moon Mystery Series which features a Ute investigator who is also a Colorado rancher…  

Donna Leon: Leon lives in Venice and writes the Guido Brunetti Mystery Series which features a Venetian police commissario…Friends in High Places    ’00

Janice A. Thompson: Thompson writes the Bridal Mayhem Mystery Series. She describes herself as a Christian author. She home-schooled her four daughters and has done her part in planning several weddings…

Aimée & David Thurlo: David and Aimée Thurlo live in New Mexico where their three mystery series are set: the Ella Clah Mystery Series, the Sister Agatha Mystery Series, and the Lee Nez/Leo Hawke Mystery Series…

I have added four new authors to the site who have been recommended by readers of the Cozy Mystery site. I want to “introduce” them to you, and I am guessing that some of you are already very familiar with some of them!

Patrick Balester: Balester has just put out his first novel in the Greg Parnell Mystery Series… which features a Fish & Wildlife Agent in a small town in Virginia…

Grace Brophy: Brophy worked as a systems engineer as well as teaching university-level literature and writing before penning her Commissario Cenni Investigation Mystery Series…

Lizbie Brown: Brown taught English before writing the Elizabeth Blair Mystery Series, a quilting-themed series which is set in Bath, England…

Jeffrey Cohen: Cohen, a journalist and screenplay author, has two mystery series: the Aaron Tucker Mystery Series is about a journalist and screenwriter and the Double Feature Mystery Series features the owner of a movie theater… both take place in New Jersey…

It’s that time again…. I have completed four new (to the site… but not actually "new") authors who I first heard about from you all. I have yet to read any of their works, but they do look interesting:

Garrison Allen: Allen writes the Big Mike Mystery Series which features the owner of a mystery bookstore, along with Big Mike… a huge Abyssinian cat who happens to love his Lima beans…

Lori Andrews: Although not a Cozy Mystery author, I included Andrews on the site because her books look really interesting, as well as… "smart mysteries"…  Andrews is a professor of law in Chicago and an expert in genetics. She writes the Dr. Alexandra Blake Mystery Series…

Christy Barritt: What better way to do your amateur sleuthing than to own a crime scene cleaning business, and have access to all of the freshly strewn evidence!  Barritt writes the Squeaky Clean Mystery Series which features the owner of that  very unusual business…

Patricia Batta: Batta has worked as an elementary school teacher, as well as a (document) librarian. She writes the Marge Christensen Mystery Series…
