Hallmark Christmas Movie Schedule 2019

October 6, 2019

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the Hallmark channels are starting their Christmas season in October this year. When I started getting this list together I thought I had made a mistake because the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel’s Christmas movies will be airing on Thursday and Friday nights, rather than the previous years when they aired on Saturday and Sunday nights. I am guessing that they have decided to alternate the nights (keeping the Hallmark Channel’s Christmas movies on Saturday and Sunday nights) so that those of us who enjoy watching the movies “live” can do so. I prefer watching them once I’ve DVR-ed them, so I can skip through the ads… (Also, I know these movies aren’t mystery movies, but I have many people who request that I post these yearly Christmas movies lists.)

Hallmark and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas 2017 Movies!

September 23, 2017

Oh, by gosh, by golly. It’s time for mistletoe and holly… Well, not really, since this is still September… but I have the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel Christmas movie line-up, as well as the regular Hallmark channel’s Christmas schedule. I know this is way too early, but I want to be sure I let you all know about these movies, and since I just posted the October Television Mystery Movies yesterday, I thought I’d get them both done at the same time. Plus, one of these Christmas movies is premiering at the end of October. So be sure to print this schedule so that you’re all ready to set up your DVRs! (I’ve already printed my copy!)

***I am adding this to the entry today, October 30, 2017: I have noticed that Hallmark has changed some of the movies listed below from one channel to the other, and also, they are showing the movies on different time slots. So, please check with the Hallmark guide on your TV to find out which movies they have switched. I’m sorry about this. >>> Now I know why they made this so easy this year: They were planning to change things around one way or the other.***

The more he learns about Jenny during his research, the more he likes her, and the guiltier he feels being caught between his heart and his best friend. Anna works for a New York City real estate development company that is trying to buy an old building in a prime location, hoping to flip the property for a profit. Unfortunately, there is one tenant holding out—-the owner of an old-fashioned Christmas shop. Anna has been hoping for a way to step up in her job, and finally she’s been given the golden opportunity to take point on this assignment. Anna approaches the Christmas Shop’s handsome owner, Michael, who is not only protective of his family’s legacy but appreciates what the holiday means to everyone. But with sinking profits, Michael finally gives in to Anna’s attempts to change his mind. Anna will spend one week working in the store, and after that, if she doesn’t realize why this shop is so important, they can talk. When Anna’s company finds out about what’s going on and her career is on the line, she is forced to make a choice, one that will change her forever and make this one of the best Christmases she has ever had.

NEW YEAR’S GALA

That first kiss of the New Year is special: It’s supposed to signify that special person with whom we’ll spend the next year, and possibly, forever. So it’s wise not to squander those affections. When everyone else just puckers up to the nearest set of lips, Robin has always kept her wits — and her mouth — to herself. An established photographer at a lifestyle website, she’s assigned to work on a New Year’s Eve story with a new hire, Todd. When she confides in Todd that she has never kissed anyone as the clock strikes midnight, he sets about to correct this, by finding someone for Robin to kiss at the magic hour. His theory is a kiss is just a kiss, and she should enjoy the moment. Ultimately, they are both right. Todd finds a man for her to smooch, and Robin does find the right man. And guess who fits the bill?

As I said at the top of this entry – I know it’s way to early for this schedule, since it’s just the end of September. But, I was so delighted when I found these lists on their respective websites. This year both the channels made making this list a whole lot easier! (And, speaking of these websites >>> I found the descriptions I provided on their respective websites.)

P.S. In case you are interested, I have two lists of Christmas movies we have put together. Also, if you can think of any Christmas movies I should add to either of these lists, please leave a comment below the relevant post. Thank you!

Upcoming Television Mystery Movies for December 2016

November 26, 2016

It’s the time of the month again to find out about next month’s upcoming mystery movies!

As usual, I’m posting the Turner Classic Movies channel mysteries that I think are definitely worth looking at (in addition to some others from my favorite actors and actresses…) In particular, there is a Thin Man marathon on Friday the 23rd, into the early morning of Saturday the 24th. Some of you have mentioned that you watch the Thin Man movies on New Year’s Eve – so set up your DVRs!

Since this will be December and TCM will be showing a lot of Christmas movies, I’ve also decided to include a bunch of those on this list >>> at least the ones I intend to watch again!
