Cozy Mystery (and Other Favorite) Books, Movies, and TV
Here is the list of new releases for January 30 to February 5! Very short list again this week – just one actually – but something from a series I’ve highlighted recently (Linda Reilly’s Grilled Cheese Mystery Series)!
Linda Reilly: Cheddar Late Than Dead (3rd in Grilled Cheese Mysteries)
I’m adding more authors to the site! This time I have three new authors, as usual taken from some of the most frequently recommended authors by site readers.
First, Christin Brecher was born, raised, and currently lives in New York City, though she says that her life-long attachment to Nantucket, Massachusetts, strongly influences her work. She’s the author of two Cozy series, the Nantucket Candle Maker Mystery Series, starring a candle maker in Nantucket, Massachusetts, and the Snapshot of NYC Mystery Series, starring a photographer in New York City.
Finally, Tara Lush is an experienced romance author (writing under the name Tamara Lush) who has crossed over into Cozies, as well as a journalist. She lives on the Gulf coast with her husband and two dogs. Her mystery series are the Coffee Lover’s Mystery Series, starring a barista in Devil’s Beach, Florida, and the Devil’s Beach Mystery Series, starring the owner of an ice cream truck in the same town of Devil’s Beach, Florida.

Maddie Day (aka Edith Maxwell & Tace Baker): Four Leaf Clover (11th in the Country Store Mysteries)
Alyssa Maxwell: A Fashionable Fatality (8th in Lady and Lady’s Maid Mysteries)
Leslie Meier, Lee Hollis and Barbara Ross: Irish Coffee Murder (three short stories, one by each author)
There will be one new Cozy Mystery Series coming out in February by an established site author!
Sarah Fox will be releasing Six Sweets Under, the first in the True Confections Mystery Series. Becca Ransom has spent the last seven years in Hollywood as an actress before deciding to return to her hometown of Larch Haven, Vermont, a quaint tourist town that is considered the Venice of North America because of its scenic canals and gondolas in place of roads and cars. She’s returning to become a chocolatier at True Confections, a chocolate shop owned by her grandparents. Naturally, no sooner has Becca returned home than a family foe is trying to cause trouble – this time a local crank named Archie – who turns up obviously dead after an argument with Becca’s grandfather. Becca will need to investigate the case herself if she wants to clear her grandfather’s name. Sarah Fox is also the author of the Pancake House Mystery Series, the Literary Pub Mystery Series, and the Music Lover’s Mystery Series.
