One New Holiday Mystery Book Coming in July 2014

I am going to try to write about the NEW Cozy Mystery series that Cozy Mystery authors on the site are starting, as well as the NEW Cozy Mystery holiday books that are coming out. However, I don’t have any new series to tell you about that will be beginning in July 2014. I do have one seasonal/holiday Cozy Mystery that will be released during July 2014, though.

Dawn Eastman‘s second Family Fortune Mystery is due out this July: Be Careful What You Witch For. From what I can see (remember, I don’t accept Advanced Reading Copies – so I haven’t pre-read it!) it will be a Fall Festival Cozy Mystery. (I put it on the Halloween theme list.)

The Family Fortune Mystery Series features Clytemnestra Fortune >>> Clyde for short! Clyde is an ex policewoman who has returned to her home town (Crystal Haven) in Michigan. Crystal Haven is a rather paranormal-type of town. It’s a tourist’s destination for people who want to connect with their psychic-side.

Clyde’s mom is a tarot reader, her aunt is a pet psychic, and Clyde, well, let’s just say she fits right into her family of psychically-endowed women.

“Cozy Food: 128 Cozy Mystery Writers Share Their Favorite Recipes”

Nancy Lynn Jarvis is the editor of a brand new cookbook called Cozy Food: 128 Cozy Mystery Writers Share Their Favorite Recipes. Cozy Food was published earlier this month, and has 220 recipes from 128 mystery authors. There are Italian, Australian, English, and North American recipes. There are even gluten-free and vegetarian recipes, as well as some pet treats.

Cozy Food has recipes from many Cozy Mystery authors who are found on the Cozy Mystery site. Just to name a few: Ellery Adams, Donna Andrews, Mignon F. Mystery Book Recommendations – May 2014

I really don’t know where this month has gone! I know I have said this before, but it feels as if time goes faster as we get older. I remember back to my school days when it seemed like time stood still! Being the end of the month, it’s time for me to ask you for your monthly Cozy Mystery book recommendations.
