I got to download Jana DeLeon’s Trouble in Mudbug. I must say I am hooked. Maryse the main character is a delight. I can picture myself being just like her. I am on chapter 7 and just started the book this afternoon. I just can’t stop reading. I want to curl up in bed with it but I don’t have Kindle so it is on my laptop. 🙁 what to do? LOL

Nita R, thanks for telling us about Jana DeLeon’s Trouble in Mudbug. I see that it is free for the Kindle copy right now. I love it when they offer FREE Kindle copies of first books in series. It’s a great way to let us “sample” an author to decide whether we want to follow their book series.

I could not put it down. I finished it in less than 2 days. Sad to say but I did. It was wonderful. Now the only problem is my library doesn’t carry any Jana DeLeon books. So now I have to go looking for them. I live in a small rural area in Florida so it is hard to find a large library with these types of books.

I am totally hooked on Miss Fortune and Mudbug series. I have purchased all on audible, I am listening to them in order for the 4th time. My daughter has bought the series in paperback after she bought them on audible.
We are so anxious for the next book after “Swamp Santa”
Any word on when the next one will be coming out?
