Hi. I know this is a long shot, but I’m trying to find a series of mysteries that I read a few years back. I remember that the lead character ran her own bread and breakfast. There was also a guy that lived on her property who helped her solve her cases.
I really feel like I should know this bed and breakfast series, but I can’t quite grasp it… All I can think of is Charlotte MacLeod‘s Sarah Kelling and Max Bittersohn Mystery Series…
Do any of you have any thoughts about this?

I remember it too, but didn’t realize it was a series and I don’t remember the name. In the book I read, she was just setting up the bed and breakfast and there was a romance brewing with the tenant. Are we on the same track? It was a good read.

Is this the series by Mary Daheim, the Hillside Manor Bed and Breakfast Series? Judith M. runs a B & B and her husband assists her sometimes to solve clues.

I’m with Laura I believe Leslie is looking for Karen MacInerney and her Gray Whale Inn series, there are four books in this series the newest is Berried to the Hilt, I have it waiting at the library for me to read yeah!

It sounds like the Gray Whale Inn series to me. There are only 4 of them I think. One is new this year.
