{"id":975,"date":"2008-12-25T06:47:37","date_gmt":"2008-12-25T11:47:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cozy-mystery.com\/blog\/?p=975"},"modified":"2008-12-25T06:47:37","modified_gmt":"2008-12-25T11:47:37","slug":"happy-holidays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cozy-mystery.com\/blog\/happy-holidays\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Holidays!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s wishing you all a wonderful, <strong>Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanza!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All of us are happy and healthy, we have the scented &#8220;Fresh Cut\u00a0Tree&#8221; candle simmering on the coffee mug heater, the cinnamon rolls\u00a0and the cranberry muffins\u00a0are out of the oven (with the help of Pillsbury!),\u00a0the\u00a0tree lights are on, AND\u00a0Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Bing Crosby are crooning\u00a0carols in the background.\u00a0It doesn&#8217;t get much better than this!<\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0had the foresight to prepare my mashed potatoes and stuffing yesterday, so they are both ready to be heated in our oven. The turkey is easy&#8230; I bought an already-smoked turkey from the grocery store so it just has to be heated on the barbecue. I am ready to spend Christmas day with my loved ones.<\/p>\n<p>Both my husband and I know that both of our children will soon move away, so\u00a0we are savoring the present time we all have together. Growing up in a military family and now living so far from my family (Colorado) and my husband&#8217;s family (Ohio), we know that it is sometimes impossible to schedule holiday vacations with extended family members.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and wish you ALL\u00a0a <strong>Happy, Healthy\u00a0Holiday Season!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s wishing you all a wonderful, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanza!
